I periodically travel to Latin America to exhibit my art where I visit galleries and artists' studios to see what moves me. When I find an artist I like, I examine their situation to ascertain whether I could assist that artist with my connections.

To date I have found three extraordinary artists in South America. In Santiago, Chile I found sculptor Pololo Valdés. In 1995 I got his work included in an exhibit with my dealer in Chicago. While showing in Bogotá, Colombia in 1996, I discovered painter, Claudia García O. I brought her to the States in 1997. She spent several months living with me and my family and serving as my assistant. I acted as her agent arranging shows and sales of her work in various parts of the country. While showing in Santiago, Chile in 1997, I met painter, Lorenzo Moya.
