The future belongs to our children. When we understand the implications of this, we realize how important it is that we prepare them to care for themselves and the world they inherit. We posses both individual responsibility for our own children and a collective responsibility for the well being of the next generation. Journey from Home is an essay about what my kids have taught me is important for them. It addresses the issue of personal responsibility. Collective responsibility is addressed in the youth development programs currently under development called Paint Your Future and Build Your Future.
